During 3 years I worked about the plight of ostracised Indian widows. This is the incredible story of social reformer Bindeshwar Pathak bringing happiness into the lives of Indian widows, a story from despair to hope. A book, Angels of Ghost Street, has been published by Edition Lammerhuber.

Widows celebrate Holi at Vrindavan
2017
Hundreds of widows celebrate Holi, a festival of colours forbidden to them, the phantoms shrouded in white. Sulabh activists brought millions of flower petals in many colours in on closed trucks. They showered the widows with the flowers and the women poured petals on each other, crying with joy and raising their arms, buoyed by a great enthusiasm. This was not yet a victory but a great relief and a huge step forward.
