Dr Pathak assigned a suitable monthly pension to thousands of women.

2013-2014

Social reformer Dr Pathak with Sulabh International launched the fight for widows in 2012. He assigned a suitable monthly pension to thousands of women. To encourage them to no longer beg, he bought sewing machines to enable them to secure a share of their income themselves. He urged teachers to teach them to sew, make incense sticks, but also to read and write. Dr Pathak has also organised a series of welfare measures in the past two years. But first of all he listened to them with love and care, respect and dignity.

Le Dr Pathak, réformateur social, lance la lutte pour la cause des veuves en 2012 avec son organisation Sulabh International. Il attribue une pension mensuelle convenable à des milliers de femmes. Pour les encourager à ne plus mendier, il achète des machines à coudre afin de leur permettre de gagner une partie de leurs revenus par elles-mêmes. Il engage des professeurs pour leur apprendre à coudre, à fabriquer des bâtons d’encens mais aussi à lire et à écrire. Le Dr Pathak a mis en œuvre tout un ensemble de mesures d’aides sociales au cours de ces deux dernières années. Mais avant tout, il a su écouter ces femmes avec amour, attention, respect et dignité.
